    Public transport fare integration arrives in L’Urgell. (23/09/2010)

    Today, in Tàrrega, the ATM presented the expansion of the Integrated Fare System in the county of L’Urgell. The fare service will go into effect on Monday 27 September.

    Today, at the Tàrrega bus station, Carme Garrofé, the Lleida Territorial Service Director of Territorial Policy and Public Works, Esteve Tomàs, Director of the Mobility Programme for the Catalan Ministry of Territorial Policy and Public Works, Rosa María Mora, Chair of the L’Urgell County Council and other mayors from the county presented the extension of the integrated fare service to L’Urgell.

    Starting on Monday 27 September, the 20 municipalities in L’Urgell and its 36,600 inhabitants will benefit – both financially and from the point of view of practicality and functionality – from the advantages of fare integration.

    Users will have access to the ATM’s entire range of integrated fares. These fare options may be purchased at more than forty locations, including newsagents and tobacconists throughout the county as well as other points in the current service area – a network made up of more than 250 locations which sell and load fare options.
